Run the race, so as to win! This bible verse was the theme of the homily for Ashlin and Mark’s beautiful spring wedding at the Basilica of St. Josaphat in Milwaukee, WI. Fr. Zack Burns TOR was the main celebrant of their nuptial Mass which was so special as he was the chaplain of their Cross Country team while they were college students. He reflected upon how a race was a good image for marriage. He spoke of how a runner prepares for the race and once the race begins, he persevers to the end, even when things get hard. Their wedding day is the beginning of the greatest race of their lives and they should run so as to win!

Ashlin and Mark’s day was meticulously planned from beginning to end. Ashlin’s vision for a floral garden party inspired wedding was finally realized and the end results were spectacular! The colors of the dresses and florals, the pressed flowers on the cards at the reception, it was stunning from beginning to end!
