Marissa and Ryan’s wedding day began at the beautiful and iconic Hotel Covington. As I began with their gorgeous details, I could hear the joy and excitement bubbling over as the girls finished up their hair and makeup. Matthew was with Ryan and his groomsmen and they were having an equally fun time, hanging out and enjoying each other’s company. Family was very important to these two and we were able to capture such tender moments that morning.

We headed to St. Gertrude’s Catholic Church in Cincinnati for their wedding Mass. Marissa and Ryan both share a love of music and actually met in choir during high school. Their wedding music was beautiful and filled the church. After Mass, we headed to a few spots for photos and I loved the variety we got, city skyline, gorgeous park setting, and city streets! They are big fans of the Cincinnati Reds so we made sure to get shots with the stadium in that background.

After portraits, we went to their reception at the Madison Event Center, right across the street from Hotel Covington. Their reception decor was white and neutral with white flowers and light greenery. It was a timeless look that was romantic and minimalistic with an urban feel. After heartfelt toasts and dancing the night away, we ended their night with a fun sparkler exit!
