Spring time is in FULL SWING and we just celebrated Mother’s Day! Dalton’s mom, Alison wanted some family pictures taken for mother’s day and I was so excited to photograph this beautiful family again! You may remember Dalton as the babywearing bride from her wedding photos that went viral with her colorful wrap! She now has a little boy named Briar and you can find his Fresh 48 session HERE.

It’s so fun to photograph families over and over again. Sessions feel like we are getting together with old friends, catching up with each other, seeing the kids grow and change and just generally having a blast! The light was every photographer’s DREAM this evening and I loved every minute of this session! Below are some of my favorites. Seriously, how cute is Ellie in her little dress, picking flowers?!?! I think a mother’s day session is a great gift idea and I hope to do more of these in the future!

(P.S. When Dalton got home from the session, she said that Ellie was going around with her polaroid pretending to take pictures and saying “hand in pocket, thumb out. Hug, smile, kiss”. That just made my day! A little photographer in the making!)
