Recznik Family | Fall Family Session | Steubenville, OH

And now there are 3!! Gosh I have loved documenting the Recznik family over the last two years!! Getting to watch them grow and add more children, it’s such a joy! At their first session, Damien was a newborn and now he’s a big brother to little Naomi! These three children are so so sweet! They love each other so purely and that definitely flows from the great love they see and receive from their parents.

Everything about this session was perfect. The weather, the light, the locations and their outfits! It was a sunny, warm BEAUTIFUl evening in Steubenville OH. Bernadette had asked me if I had any different location ideas and I gave her two ideas that were close to each other so we decided to use both which gave great variety to their photos! The first location is so so random, its a field on the side of the road behind the Steubenville Mall. I found this location last year, and although I got completely covered in prickly burrs (and I mean completely covered…my pants, sweater and hair!!) it was totally worth it! The second location was near the Catholic Central athletic fields. What I love about location scouting as a photographer is finding the most random and unassuming locations and then making them look stunning in pictures. You would never know that the first location is on the side of the road or that we were surrounded by soccer games at the second one! Being creative with locations is one of my favorite parts of photographer! I really hope you enjoy scrolling through these images, I know I loved capturing them!
