Julia, Natalie, Madison and Emily | A Spring Senior Session in Steubenville, Ohio

College is an incredible time for growth: academically, spiritually, emotionally and relationally. Some of my greatest friendships came from my time at Franciscan University in Steubenville, Ohio. You grow together, through the good and the bad, the tough and the exciting, the stressful and the joyful. This past weekend I had the absolutely pleasure to photograph these 4 beautiful friends. Their session was nothing short of perfect!

Julia’s older sister had contacted me about doing a family session when she is in town in May for Julia’s college graduation. I’m really looking forward to that family session, she’s pregnant and has adorable twin daughters! So pumped! She had the brilliant idea of gifting her sister and her sister’s 3 friends a session together! Julia, Emily, Madison and Natalie have been friends since freshman year. They are all seniors now and this session was to capture their friendship and love for each other, especially since graduation is nearing and with that comes moving away from each other. *cue sad music* They all went to Austria during their sophomore year and that really solidified their friendship and they have been super close ever since! Julia, Madison and Emily are nursing students and Natalie is studying education. I cracked up when we arrived to the photo location near campus and they excitedly told me “we brought props!” They had brought along stethoscopes, a blood pressure cuff, an apple and a book! SO FUNNY!

The entire session was filled with laughter, smiles and love. I am just dying from how GORGEOUS these photos turned out! These BEAUTIFUL women have an even more BEAUTIFUL friendship and it was such a huge blessing for me to capture that friendship in photos. I had the hardest time choose which photos to share, they were all SO GOOD! I hope you enjoy and get a kick out of the “prop” ones! I know I do!
