Gosh, this year has been amazing! I’ve been blogging consistently each month for a whole year now, sharing our family’s adventures, both big and small, with you! It’s been an amazing year. I started out 2019 with a 3 day old and a 2 year old and now I have a 1 year old and a 3 year old!!! I plan on continuing to blog each month, especially since I kept me accountable with editing our family photos. I now have an entire year’s worth of photos edited and ready to be made into a family yearbook!

You know when you meet someone and you are instantly inspired by them? Their presence gives you peace and joy, their story gives you hope and their lives challenge you to live better? That is exactly how Matthew and I felt after meeting Katie and Aaron. These two have an INCREDIBLE story and it is a testament to God’s faithfulness.

November was an incredibly full month!! Looking back at our calendar and these photos, we did so much! From traveling to friends and family to just spending time at home, this month had it all!!

October came and went like the leaves of fall. Here today, gone tomorrow! It was filled with photo sessions for me, a birthday for John and some major milestones for Grace!

The delicate morning frost was still sparkling on the crunchy grass and crispy leaves during this late fall family session in Steubenville, OH. Though it was a chilly November morning in the Ohio Valley, it was a beautiful morning for photos! The warm sunlight glistened through the leaves that were still on the trees.

This shoot was SO MUCH FUN. I collaborated with some awesome small businesses to put together a styled engagement shoot with a gorgeous couple!! Eve and Nick are engaged and I was so pumped when they agreed to be my models for this shoot!

Julie and Eyad were such a joy to work with! We met on a fall evening on the campus of Franciscan University of Steubenville for their engagement session and I loved chatting with them about what they do and where they are from! Julie is from close by, just across the river in Weirton, WV but Eyad is from a little further away…….Jerusalem! How cool is that?!? I told them that it’s the one place in the world that I MUST go to before I die! I’ve never been and it’s at the top of my bucket list!

Praise God for the gift of friendship! I have known Emily and Jimmy since college. We were RA’s together and we even did marriage prep together since we got married two months apart!

Last year, I got to meet the whole Sweeney family! They had just had sweet little Ava and we took photos on a very cold November day. This year, Ava is happy and beautiful one year old and we had a MUCH warmer October day for their family photos!

I SO enjoyed getting to know this sweet family of 7!! I had met Amy a few times but it was at their session that I learned that she and her husband Greg have 5 kids and that they were originally from Minnesota! I loved chatting with them about MN since Matthew is from there!! It was so wonderful to meet all their sweet children too….they have awesome Irish names!! We had a great time, enjoying the last of the warm fall weather and playing in the field behind Franciscan University. I loved their jewel toned outfits, perfect for a fall family session!
