Schlueter Family | A Summer Family Session in Steubenville, Ohio

It’s always nice to see old, familiar faces. I went to college with Brianna and Joey and I hadn’t seen them since graduation! So I was super pumped when Bri contacted me about doing some family photos for them! She wanted to make sure we took them before Joey is deployed so she could send him with printed pictures of his family. I’m just floored by the sacrifice that military families make for our country! I am so thankful for their service and incredible sacrifice for our country and our freedom.

Since I last saw them, they got married and have two exceptionally adorable children, Rosie and Otto! These two, gosh, so stinkin’ cute! They drove up from Georgia for the 4th of July to visit Joey’s family. And THEN… they drove 90 additional minutes to come to Steubenville for their session!!! It was quite humid to say the least, but we had such a fun time taking photos in the shade *key word, shade!* …..no little kid (or adult for that matter) wants so sit, melting, while taking photos in the hot sun. So to the shade we went! I was cracking up while taking photos of Rosie doing her various faces….happy….sad….happy….sad….peek a boo!

Joey and Bri, again, thank you so much for serving this country and for giving me the opportunity to photography your beautiful family. It was such an honor.
