At Holy Family Catholic Church in Steubenville, precious little Roma Oliviana Marie was welcomed into the Catholic Church through baptism recently and I was so privileged to be asked to capture this incredibly special moment in her life.

I am always struck by the profundity of baptism. This innocent child, clothed in a delicate white garment that has been passed down through her family for generations, is born again in Christ. She is a new creation, washed clean in the waters of baptism and her soul is fill with God’s grace!! She becomes a child of God and He dwells in her! What a momentous occasion filled with such joy!! I loved getting to know Roma’s family more and it was so evident how much she is loved!! It was such a sweet gathering and I’m so grateful to have been there!
