Hilzendeger Family | A Fall Family Session at Settlers Cabin Park | Pittsburgh, PA

When Julie reached out to me about her scheduling her fall family photos, she mentioned that they were expecting a new baby in February!! SO EXCITING! I photographed this family last year and boy, that day was COLD! Her kids were such troopers and we had a great time last year!! Thankfully this year it was incredibly warm, sunny and the fall foliage at Settlers Cabin Park in Pittsburgh, PA was stunning!!

I’m so excited for this sweet, growing family! I will be taking newborn and family photos for them once this little one arrives! It’s such a privilege to capture families time and time again. These photos will serve as a reminder of “when we were little”. I love looking back at photos of myself when I was growing up. All through my childhood I can remember sitting in my parents’ closet, pulling the photo albums off the shelf and flipping through the pages of our family history, captured in photos. Seeing what we did (and what we wore ..hahah gotta love those 90’s outfits) and how much we have grown, I could see the legacy that photos leave. And that’s where my passion for photography comes from. To leave a legacy, a family history chronicled in photos.
