Hartwood Acres Engagement Session in Pittsburgh | Therese + Phillip

When Therese and Phillip chose Hartwood Acres for their engagement session, I was so excited! It has been on my list of places that I want to shoot at! The stunning mansion is surrounded by beautiful grounds, perfect for a lovely sunset engagement session in Pittsburgh.  Therese and Phillip drove in from Michigan for their session and we were so excited to finally meet them in person! We had met them over a Zoom call when they initially inquired and we knew from that call that we would get along great! We had originally planned their engagement session for late August but there was rain on the forecast so we postponed to September. The weather was absolutely perfect, not too hot, not too cold, just right (we’ve been reading a lot of Goldilocks and the Three Bears in our house lately).

We had such a wonderful time exploring the grounds around the mansion and gosh, did we laugh a A LOT! Phillip and Therese are such a joy filled couple and it made us so excited for their wedding day in January! Phillip comes from a big family and his younger sister is one of my dearest friends.  So I was so excited when they reached out about wedding photography! Their wedding is going to be so much fun and I am really excited for a winter wedding! Praying for just the right amount of snow for gorgeous images!
