Traditional Latin Mass Wedding at Old St. Mary’s Cincinnati | Maggie + Gabriel

The beginning of July brought about a busy weekend for downtown Cincinnati: a sold out Reds game, a sold out FC Cincinnati game, a sold out Taylor Swift concert…..and Maggie and Gabe’s wedding day!!  We had the pleasure of photographing this wedding at our new parish, Old St Mary’s! We have so much love for this church and it’s so hard to capture the sheer beauty of it in a photo but we tried our best to do it justice!

Maggie is originally from Cincinnati but has lived for the past four years in Alaska! That is where she met a wonderful Alaskan Catholic man named Gabriel ….who is now her husband! These two share a deep love for the Church and for the Traditional Latin Mass.  Their TLM nuptial Mass at Old St. Mary’s was incredibly beautiful.  Their music, by composer Joseph Haydn, was heavenly. As I walked around the church taking photos of the Mass, I was transported to another world by the music.  The choir at Old St. Mary’s in exceptional and it’s such a gift to hear them every week.

After Mass, we headed to Devou Park for some photos of Maggie and Gabe.  These two were just giddy with excitement that they were finally married! After photos, they headed to the reception to dance the night away.  And let me tell you, this dance floor was filled the whole night! You know when your couple takes their faith seriously when they have nuns and priests at praying at their wedding and tearing up the dance floor at their reception! It was such a fun party that ended with a glowstick exit!
