Traditional Latin Mass Wedding at St. Mary’s Assumption Church in St. Louis, MO | Nicolette + Taylor

When Nicolette and Taylor reached out about their wedding, I just had to say yes! This sweet couple was married on a beautiful October day in St. Louis, MO.  Taylor came into the Catholic Church this past year and Nicolette had a reversion to the faith.  Together they have been growing in love and knowledge of the faith and learning more about it led them to discover the Latin Mass. They have fallen in love with its beauty, reverence, and rich tradition.

They were married in a beautiful, intimate Low Mass at St. Mary’s Assumption Church in St. Louis. Normally the TLM weddings we’ve captured have been High Masses, filled with beautiful music. But there was something just so beautifully simple and peaceful about a Low Mass wedding.  The silence, the focus on the Sacrament of Matrimony and the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass: it was heavenly.  You could hear the quiet clicks of Nicolette’s heels as she walked down the aisle, the silence was filled with the immensity of this moment, their eyes meeting as she walked toward Taylor.

After Mass, we went to Lafayette Park, just around the corner from the church, for photos!  This park provided such a lush backdrop for their photos and it was such a joy to talk with these two about their lives and plans for the future.  God has been working in their lives in such a profound way, leading them to Himself.  It truly was an honor to capture their special day.
