Winter Wedding at St. Monica St. George + Hotel Covington | Anne + Joshua

Winter meets elegance best describes Anne and Joshua’s December wedding in Cincinnati.  With less than two weeks until Christmas, their classy green, gold, and white wedding had little nods to Our Lady of Guadalupe to whom the couple had a big devotion.  Their shared faith played a central role in their wedding, with the Nuptial Mass being the focal point of the day.

They began their beautiful day at Hotel Covington, one of my favorite spots in the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky area! This hotel is so beautiful and has such lovely light for getting ready images.  Anne had such pretty and feminine details for me to photograph and I just loved the West Coast Catholic rosary she bought which paired so nicely with the rest of her wedding colors. After a sweet first look with her bridesmaids, we headed to the church!

St. Monica St. George is one of the most iconic and stunning churches in Cincinnati.  Everywhere you look, you are struck with the beauty and symbols of the Catholic faith.  Anne told me that she was excited about the music she chose for the Mass and let me tell you, it did not disappoint! The choir, composed of their friends, filled the church with such gorgeous sacred music!

After their sacred and solemn Nuptial Mass we headed to Covington, KY to take photos before heading back to Hotel Covington for the reception! Their reception was full of heartfelt toasts and exuberant dancing! One of my favorite moments on the dancefloor was the choreographed dance Joshua and Anne surprised their guests with, complete with orange jumpsuits!

Anne and Josh, we are so thrilled for you two and can’t wait to see what God has in store for your new family!
