Catholic Winter Wedding at Our Lady of Victory Church in Rochester, NY | Anna + Thomas

Our last wedding of 2024 brought us full circle back to my hometown and childhood parish.  Anna and Thomas were married within the Christmas Octave in the same church where Matthew and I were married almost 10 years ago!  They had a beautiful Traditional Latin Mass in this newly restored church nestled in downtown Rochester.  It was such a perfect way to end our amazing wedding season with such a special, joy-filled couple, their loving families and amazing friends!

We began their day as we always do, I with the girls and Matthew with the guys.  Both homes were filled with such peace and joy, very akin to the Christmas season.  After they were both dressed and ready, we headed to the little French Church on Pleasant Street for their Nuptal Mass. There were three priests there who had played significant roles in their lives. It was a beautiful Mass and two of my younger brothers were servers!

After Mass we headed to their reception venue! Just the day before, there was a blanket of snow on the ground but their wedding day brought such unseasonably warm weather, it almost felt like spring and not late December in western NY.

We took some portraits and then headed into their reception which was such a wonderful time.  There were Christmas-themed decor and desserts, a dance floor filled with friends and just a general atmosphere of delight!

Anna and Thomas, thank you for allowing us to capture your sacred day and sharing your amazing family and friends with us! It was such a pleasure and we are so thrilled for you both!
