When you put the focus of your wedding day and marriage on God, your day will naturally be more peaceful, joy-filled, and heavenly. And that’s exactly what Elizabeth and Jung did for their wedding in early September at St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Cincinnati, OH. The peace of Christ radiated from this couple the entire day. Prayer and intentionality were in every aspect of their day and it was such a joy to be their photographers.
After getting ready, we headed to the beautiful St. Lawrence Catholic Church on the west side of Cincinnati. Elizabeth and Jung shared such a tender first look in the midst of the church, before our Lord. Then they prayed together at the altar rail, offering their marriage to God. It was a beautiful moment!
Their wedding Mass was so sacred, so beautiful, filled with such grace and it felt like we had stepped into a part of the heavenly banquet. There were subtle nods to their shared devotion to Mary and St. Teresa of Calcutta.
After their Mass, we took some photos around the church’s grounds and then went to Putz’s Creamy Whip. If I could recommend anything on a wedding day, it would be a pit stop for ice cream on the way to the reception. This was so fun and refreshing and made for some great photos! The flower girls even took part in this tasty treat!
Their reception was at the picturesque Clovernook Country Club. With a quick outfit change into beautiful blue hanboks, it was time for a delicious dinner and heartfelt toasts. It was a peaceful reception with yard games, mingling of friends and family and dancing!
Elizabeth and Jung, we were so blessed to be your wedding photographers. It was truly a joy to capture your day! We are so thrilled for you both and can’t wait to see what God has in store for your new family!
