Quail Hollow Park Winter Engagement Session | Helena + Derek

There’s something so lovely about photos in the snow.  And when the sun comes out, gosh it’s the perfect combination! So much natural reflective light everywhere, it makes for magical wintry images! We met up with Helena and Derek at Quail Hollow Park near Canton, OH for their midwinter engagement session.  The world looked like Narnia as the sunlight poured through the trees. It was worth the cold temps to get these stunning images! Helena looked gorgeous in her long blush gown which fit perfectly with the snowy backdrop! I am a big fan of long flowy dresses at any time of the year!

Helena and Derek met through a young adult Catholic group in Northeastern Ohio. They became friends and that friendship soon turned into a deep love for each other.  Derek proposed last summer during a picnic date at one of their favorite spots. It was everything Helena had hoped for, simple and intimate!

By the end of their session, we all couldn’t feel our toes! But gosh these images were worth it! And I reminded them that during their late August wedding, we will think back to this chilly engagement session, maybe longingly depending on the heat! We are so looking forward to their wedding in Canton this summer! They are such a sweet couple and I just know their wedding day will be heavenly!
