St. Joan of Arc Wedding in Indianapolis | Grace + Jonathon

Grace and Jonathon’s classic blue and peach wedding began our June wedding marathon.  They were married at the gorgeous St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church in Indianapolis. St. Joan of Arc is Grace’s favorite saint and their wedding day was just two days after her feast day!

We began their day at the Conrad Indianapolis in downtown Indy.  It is a gorgeous hotel and venue and we loved spending the morning with Grace and Jonathon’s family and friends.  Grace wore Jonathon’s great-grandmother’s pearl necklace and earrings which paired beautifully with her pearl studded wedding shoes.  One of the coolest details I photographed that morning was the rosaries that they had received from the Vatican. Grace had written to the Pope, asking for a private audience while they were in Rome for their honeymoon. (I love it, you can’t get what you don’t ask for!) They received a letter back saying that a private audience would not be possible but they could attend the Wednesday audience and that the Pope would be praying for them on their wedding day.  The letter included two rosaries!

After their beautiful wedding Mass, we headed back to the Conrad for their reception!  There were so many heartfelt toasts about how a boy from Ohio fell in love with a girl from Indiana.  Grace and Jonathon danced the night away on a dance floor filled with their family and friends!
