Navy and White Military Wedding in Cincinnati, Ohio | Natasha + George

In sunny Cincinnati, Ohio at the gorgeous St. Boniface Catholic Church, Natasha and George promised to be faithful to one another, in good times and in bad, in sickness and in health. Their day was nothing short of spectacular, even despite all the curveballs thrown at them.  Pandemic weddings seem to be the norm these days…unfortunately. But couples have been making the most of the uncertainty and moving forward with their modified wedding plans.

We were supposed to have met up with Natasha and George earlier this year for their engagement session.  However a combination of the pandemic and military travel restrictions prevented us from meeting them until the day before their wedding. I will admit, that is not ideal. We love getting to know our couples well before the wedding day and the engagement session is so crucial for that specific reason. But the numerous phone calls and emails with Natasha allowed us to get to know her and I am so thankful for that.  Natasha and George are some of the kindest and most loving people you’ll meet and we were welcomed so warmly by their friends and family, it felt like we had known them for years!

Their wedding was stunning. Natasha is a planner (a girl after my own heart!) and she had every detailed planned out so perfectly, the day ran so smoothly! Many times we were running ahead of schedule so that gave us more portrait time, yay!

Some of my favorite moments from their wedding day:

  • Natasha’s first look with her father! Gosh the joy and admiration on his face was truly priceless!! The love of a father for his daughter is so tender and special.
  • Natasha and George exchanged letters and prayed together before Mass.  This was such a precious moment between them, right before the became husband and wife.  I just love the images from this part of the day!
  • George’s reaction to seeing Natasha for the first time, walking down the aisle towards him. I. Have. No. Words.  You’ll just have to scroll down and see for yourself.
  • Bridal party photos at Smale Riverfront Park beside the Roebling Suspension Bridge.  This bridal party was a hoot!!

A fun fact about the Roebling Suspension Bridge.  This bridge was special to the couple for a few reasons. Firstly, it connects Ohio and Kentucky where they each grew up.  But secondly, it was designed by John A. Roebling who later designed the Brooklyn Bridge in NYC. The Brooklyn Bridge was where Natasha and George had their first date! How neat is that?!?!

Natasha and George, you are finally married!! We are SO PUMPED for you both! May God bless you both abundantly with many joyous years together as you adventure through life together! Enjoy reliving your day through these images!!

xoxo,

Laura

This tender moment got me! They read letters to each other and then prayed together before their wedding Mass. So incredibly sweet!

Oh my goodness…..George’s reaction: Absolutely priceless! I love the raw and real emotion of seeing his bride.

Grow old along with me! The best is yet to be…
