University of Pittsburgh and Mellon Park Engagement Session | Teresa + Joseph

Spring is definitely my favorite season for sessions. The bright greenery and delicate flowers that dapple the world make for such a stunning backdrop for both engagement sessions and weddings.  We recently spent time Teresa and Joe in downtown Pittsburgh for their spring engagement session.  These two were clearly made for each other and we had so much fun exploring the Oakland neighborhood of Pittsburgh!  We started their session outside of the Cathedral of Learning which is a beautiful building that is part of the campus of the University of Pittsburgh.  We walked around the grounds, stopping here and there for portraits, all the while chatting with them.  They are so easy to talk with and we loved hearing about the beginning of their relationship. They have been long distance for most of their engagement and they can not wait for their wedding this summer when they can start their lives together!

We ended their engagement session at Mellon Park where Joe had proposed to Teresa. This walled garden is stunning and makes for a lovely backdrop for portraits.  It is my absolute favorite park in the city! So picturesque!

Teresa and Joe, we can’t wait for your wedding this summer!! It is going to be such a joy filled and beautiful day!
