November was an incredibly full month!! Looking back at our calendar and these photos, we did so much! From traveling to friends and family to just spending time at home, this month had it all!!
We started out the month by making a long weekend trip to Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky to visit some friends. This trip was SO much fun and so refreshing! If you’ve never been to this area, I highly recommend it! It’s so beautiful and there’s so much to see and do! It was so wonderful to see college friends and reconnect with them!
We also took a trip during the middle of the month to eastern PA to visit my aunt and uncle as well as attend a wedding of two dear friends of ours!! It was such a great weekend away and the wedding was in West Chester, PA. Guys, this city is SO CUTE!!! I wish we had more time to explore it!! It had that old, quaint feel and it was so, so classy! I SO want to go back there when it’s warmer and just explore! The wedding was beautiful and it was such an honor to be there and witness God’s faithfulness in our friends lives! They were both at our wedding as guests but didn’t really know each other. And now 4.5 years later they are married! God is so good!
For Thanksgiving we drove to NY and visited my mother’s side of the family. Thanksgiving was so late this year! It really threw me with how quickly December arrived! After our trip to NY we drove to Richmond, VA for a photography event that I’ll write about more next month. But the first part of our trip was still in the month of November so I included it in this month’s post. We stopped in Gettysburg on the way since it was a halfway point and wow, though we had a quick stop, this place was incredible! I definitely want to go back when we have more time to really explore and learn about the battle fought here.
I’m almost done with this year’s monthly blog posts and I’m so excited to put all of the photos I’ve taken over the past year into a family yearbook. I made a commitment in January to document my family’s everyday life as well as trips and I’m so thankful I stuck with it! I can’t wait to flip through our 2019 yearbook!
Enjoy some snapshots from November!
Fun in Cincinnati/Northern KY at a park!
Fun with the cushions! (also you’ll note that John found my old DSLR camera from 2011 and he loved being like his mommy and taking pictures.)
I just love this image!
A day at the Pittsburgh Zoo
Grace’s 1st Thanksgiving!
We stopped in Gettysburg, PA on our way to Virginia! It was a quick stop so we definitely want to come back here!
