St. Gertrude Catholic Church + Hyde Park Country Club Wedding | Rachel + Seth

One year (almost to the day) after meeting Rachel and Seth for their engagement session in Cincinnati, we arrived back in the Queen City, excited for their wedding day!  So much time, effort and prayer had gone into planning this momentous day and it was finally here. When we arrived at the homes to begin the day, you could tangibly feel the excitement. Both families dearly love these two and you could tell how excited they were for Rachel and Seth to begin their lives together. The colorful florals paired so well with the bright amethyst dresses, perfect for a late summer wedding.

Their wedding Mass at St. Gertrude’s Catholic Church was beautiful and it held so much meaning as this was where Rachel grew up and received her sacraments.  The homily, the music, everything played together to illuminate the beauty of what was taking place today, the beauty of the sacrament of matrimony.

We went to a few locations after the Mass,  the first stop being Ault Park.  This park is stunning and provided a beautiful lush backdrop for their portrait time.  They had a lively bridal party which makes portrait time so much fun.  Rachel had told me that portraits of her and Seth were a priority so we had lots of time to make that happen! After making a stop at Rachel’s highschool to capture a few images there, we made our way to the gorgeous Hyde Park Country Club. We finished up portrait time on the country club grounds and then it was time to party!

The whole day went so smoothly and we loved every minute with this couple.  Rachel and Seth, we are so thrilled you are finally married and we can’t wait to see the adventures God takes you on as you begin your life in…..Hawaii!  What a dream location! We will definitely need to make a trip out there to visit you! God bless you both!
