Early Fall Oglebay Resort Wedding | Megan + Zack

The whole week leading up to Megan and Zack’s wedding at Oglebay Resort, the weather called for rain, all day long.  We knew we could make it work and we were prepared with umbrellas and ideas for covered locations.  However, when their day finally came, there was bright sunshine and just a brief passing shower! It turned out to be such a beautiful day, praise God!

The Oglebay Mansion provided the perfect spot for their first look.  It was such a tender moment between these two! Right after the first look, there was a brief rain shower so we hopped up to the front porch of the house and continued with portrait time with these two.  One of my favorite parts of a wedding day with a first look is getting all of the portraits done before the ceremony. This allows the couple to attend the cocktail hour and visit with their guests! It makes for a really smooth and stress-free timeline.  I know I’ve said it before, but we are big fans of first looks!

After taking photos with their bridal party, it was time for these two to get married.  Their ceremony was on the West Spa Patio.  It was a beautiful and joy-filled ceremony as they said their vows and became husband and wife. The cocktail hour followed the ceremony and then it was time to party.  And gosh, this crowd knew how to party.  The dance floor was filled the entire time with guests tearing up the dance floor with Megan and Zack. They ended their night with a picture-perfect sparkler exit! It was an amazing day from beginning to end!

Megan and Zack, we had a blast spending the day with you, meeting your sweet family and friends, and capturing all the special moments of your wedding day! We hope you are enjoying your honeymoon!!
