Saint Paul Cathedral Catholic Wedding in Pittsburgh | Jenna + Aaron

“At last, this is bone of my bone, and flesh of my flesh” these words were expounded upon beautifully during the homily of Jenna and Aaron’s wedding Mass at St. Paul’s Cathedral in Pittsburgh. Fr. Joe Freedy spoke of Jenna and Aaron’s relationship and how they represent Adam and Eve as well as Christ and the Church.   They were made for each other and on a beautiful summer day, they were finally married, beginning their life as husband and wife.

Their story began years back when they met at a swing dance gathering. Though life took them separate ways for a time, they followed God’s will and ultimately it led them back to each other and into the sacrament of marriage. Surrounded by family and friends and many years of prayers, they promised to be faithful to each other and to love one another as Christ loves them.  Fr. Joe, in probably one of the most amazing wedding homilies I’ve ever heard, spoke of how each of them was made out of love, for love.  It is Love Himself that brought them to this point, to their wedding day.  And it is Love Himself who will sustain them over the years to come.

Jenna and Aaron, we were so honored to have spent the day with you and we loved meeting your family and friends.  It’s so evident how much you are loved! Have an amazing honeymoon and enjoy reliving your day!

xoxo,
Laura
