Cooperstown NY Farmers Museum Wedding | Elizabeth + Brandon

Elizabeth and Brandon’s fall-inspired wedding in Cooperstown, NY last weekend was such a special wedding for me on a personal level.  Elizabeth and I met when were in elementary school. We were both homeschooled and we quickly became best friends.  We were inseparable all through middle and high school. And although we have lived quite a distance from each other since college, we have stayed in touch through the years.  It’s really special to still have a friend who you’ve known for almost your entire life.  When Elizabeth called and asked if we would be her wedding photographers, I immediately said YES! What an honor!

The day was absolutely perfect.  You never know what the weather might be for November in NY but they lucked out and had weather close to 70 degrees! Cooperstown NY is known for the baseball hall of fame but it’s also situated on a lake and the lake provided the perfect backdrop for their late fall wedding portraits! Their emerald and tweed-clad bridal party looked amazing! And Elizabeth’s dress was a showstopper! She looked stunning!

One of my favorite elements from their day was the carousel at their cocktail hour.  Elizabeth had mentioned to me on numerous occasions throughout their wedding planning how excited she was for this carousel.  These are some of my favorite images from the day! All throughout the cocktail hour guests took turns riding the carousel.  This detail from their day really embodied Elizabeth and Brandon’s personalities! They are so perfect for each other, so filled with a spirit of child-like joy! I am beyond thrilled that Elizabeth found someone so perfect for her, Brandon really complements her in every way!

I am so excited to share my favorites from their day, it was so beautiful from beginning to end.  Elizabeth and Brandon, it was an absolute joy to spend the day with you!! May God bless your marriage and I can’t wait to see what the future holds for you!

xoxo,
Laura
