Ault Park + Alms Park Engagement Session | Mimi + Brennan

Another perfect spring evening for a Cincinnati engagement session! Mimi and Brennan are high school sweethearts who have been together for 6 years. They met in a high school religion class and became friends.  They even became prom king and queen in their senior year of high school! After going to college together they got engaged this past December. It was such a joy to see them again! We originally met them when we photographed Mimi’s sister’s wedding back in 2021! And now it’s their turn to get married!

We started their engagement session at Ault Park. I had recently discovered this patch of daffodils that I thought would be perfect for their engagement session! The sun was shining through the newly blossomed leaves and the temperature was perfect!  They were such naturals together, so easy to photograph! We used a variety of spots around the park and then headed to a new location for the second part of their session.

Alms Park is a beautiful little park, not too far from Ault Park, with views of the Ohio river. There’s a pretty little pavilion that was a great spot for some photos!  The sun was very close to setting to the light was glowy and soft, the perfect way to end their spring engagement session!

We are so excited about their wedding in December! When we got home, Mimi texted me a picture of her wedding dress! (I love when brides do this!) Their winter wedding is going to be so perfect! So stay tuned for that!
