Central Park NYC Engagement Session | Mackenzie + Nick

This early morning engagement session in Central Park was amazing.  We arrived in the early morning while it was still dark and met up with Mackenzie and Nick.  These two are just the best, we had so much fun chatting with them on their Facetime call when they inquired, we could have chatted all night! So I was so excited to get to spend the morning with them in Central Park!

We made our way into the park, winding through the dark paths to the Bow Bridge where we began and ended their session.  This iconic bridge is surrounded by beautiful fall trees and decorated with colorful potted flowers.  I knew we wouldn’t have a sunrise because of the heavy cloud cover and impending rain but I had prayed that the rain would hold off long enough to get some shots without umbrellas.  Which it did! It didn’t rain until the end and even then it was only a light drizzle!  Praise the Lord!  We explored all the iconic photo spots around the Bow Bride including the Bethesda Terrace and Cherry Hill. The architecture in this park is so classy and Mackenzie and Nick hit it out of the park (pun intended) with their outfits!

After their engagement session, we went to Sunday morning Mass with Mackenzie and Nick at St. Vincent Ferrer Catholic Church right by Central Park.  It is such a blessing to share the same faith with our couples and being able to attend Mass with them and take in the beauty of that church was priceless.  We are just so excited for their wedding next year in Rhode Island! I am a huge fan of New England weddings and this one is going to be stunning!
