Traditional Latin Mass Wedding at Old St. Mary’s in Cincinnati | Caby + Gus

Caby and Gus’ beautiful Traditional Latin Mass wedding at Old St. Mary’s in Cincinnati was one we will never forget. From Caby’s stunning gown to the solemn Nuptial Mass on the last day of the Octave of Pentecost, this wedding was picture perfect. Their love story is quintessential Cincinnati; they happened to meet while working at Skyline!

We began the day at Caby’s childhood home surrounded by her friends and family. There were audible gasps as Caby walked into the room with her gorgeous ballgown topped with a lace bolero. She was breathtaking. Her lace-trimmed veil completed the look and everyone was in awe of her! She looked like a princess!

We headed to Old St. Mary’s, the oldest continuous-use church in Cincinnati and our home parish. This church boasts the longest aisle in the city and gorgeous architecture. It was here that just a year ago, Caby came into the church and was baptized at the Easter Vigil. It was fitting that a year later she would receive yet another sacrament, this time Holy Matrimony. It was also fitting that it was within the Octave of Pentecost because Gus’ confirmation sponsor was Fr. Jon-Paul, the priest offering their Mass.

The Mass had extra readings from the Octave and the Pentecost Sequence.  Gus picked out incredible music to be sung by the talented choir. It truly was heaven on earth.

After Mass, we headed to their wedding venue in Kentucky! South Wind Farm was a picturesque venue in the rolling hills just outside of Alexandria, KY.  It was a perfect late spring day with beautiful sunny weather. We had perfect light for their sunset photos! It was so hard to pick favorites for their blog post.

Caby and Gus, we are beyond thrilled for you both and can’t wait to see what God has in store for your new family.
