Maria Stein Shrine Engagement Session | Marcella + Adam

We met up recently with Marcella and Adam for their engagement session. Marcella suggested we use the Maria Stein Shrine and I loved the idea! We have been wanting to visit this shrine, which is the home to the second largest collection of relics in the country.

The grounds of the shrine are beautifully kept and it was actually a super special place for the two of them.  They met here and Adam proposed in the Marian grotto! Marcella’s brother is the president of the shrine so we were able to use the chapel after hours for photos! It was such a beautiful session, the sun was glowing, the air was a perfect 70 degrees and these two were just the cutest! Their outfits paired perfectly with the surroundings and we had so much fun getting to know Adam and Marcella and hearing more about their story. We are looking forward to photographing their wedding next fall!

I highly recommend checking out this shrine if you’re ever out in Western Ohio! It’s only about 2 hours from Cincinnati, Indianapolis, Columbus and Toldeo! It’s definitely worth the visit, we will be sure to come back with our kids!
