Sage + Blush Portiuncula Chapel Wedding at Franciscan University of Steubenville | Iliana + Aaron

This past Saturday Iliana and Aaron were married in a beautiful and intimate ceremony in Steubenville, OH. Their wedding Mass was in the iconic Portiuncula Chapel at Franciscan University and their reception was at the local favorite Leonardo’s Coffeehouse.

Iliana and Aaron’s engagement session was so much fun, so I knew their wedding day was going to be equally as fun….and beautiful !!  And gosh, was it beautiful! Like all 2020 wedding couples, their plans had to change, drastically.  They were going to get married in Tucson, AZ in November but they decided to move their wedding up a few months and to OH where Iliana works.  They also decided to do a first look which was just so so sweet! Matthew told me after the first look that he had tears running down his cheeks during their first look….normally I’m the one crying behind the camera! But their first look was so tender, so moving, how could one not cry?!?

After their wedding we went to Leonardo’s for the reception.  One of my favorite parts of it was the washing of the feet.  It was a beautiful and profound gesture of service to one another.  It said to those present “we live to serve each other in love, for all of our life.”

Iliana and Aaron, we are thrilled that you are finally husband and wife! Enjoy your honeymoon and we can’t wait to hang out with you when you get back!
