Though Jordan is studying to be a pharmacist, she could totally have a backup career as a wedding planner. Her stunning light blue spring wedding at Oglebay was nothing short of perfection. Every detail was planned to a T! When we arrived on the morning of Jordan and Ryan‘s wedding, Jordan greeted us with a huge smile and a box filled with details! Every photographer’s dream! I was SO excited to get started on photographing all of her gorgeous details! Details are often overlooked but they set the stage beautifully for your wedding day story. They give me a clue into the color pallet for the day and what sort of theme the bride is going for. Not only do I use them in a blog post but they pair so nicely with portraits in a wedding album. They can be sentimental or just plain beautiful! I actually wrote a whole blog post just on details which you can find HERE.
Now back to this stunning wedding day!
Jordan and Ryan decided to do their first look beside the stunning Oglebay Mansion. It was such a sweet and tender moment for these two. They had planned to have their wedding in Florence, Italy but then the pandemic changed their plans. This day and this moment was a long time coming for them and Jordan looked absolutely stunning! Her Enzoani dress was delicately dappled with lace, complete with an amazing removable train. When Ryan turned around to see Jordan, you could just see the awe and adoration in his eyes. They had written their own personal vows to each other and they read them to each other right after their first look. You could see the joy bubbling over in their faces. Their wedding day was finally here and they were about to become husband and wife.
Their ceremony took place on the West Spa Patio with a stunning floral arch by The Farmer’s Daughter Flowers. The florals throughout this whole wedding day were absolutely incredible! Huge fan of wedding florals here! They add so much to a wedding day! I mean, just look at Jordan’s bouquet! In the presence of friends and family, Jordan and Ryan promised to love and honor each other for the rest of their lives. They began their relationship in highschool and they continue to grow deeper in love, despite the long distance between them. But now they were married, the long distance season was over!
We ended their wedding day with a reception at the lovely Glessner Auditorium that was filled with even more glorious florals! They had a king’s table which is my absolute favorite bridal party table set up! It’s elegant, classy and you feel like you’re at your dinner table with all of your favorite people. The room was filled with laughter as they listened to the hilarious and heartfelt toasts. Genuine joy filled the room; Jordan and Ryan were married and that was the perfect reason to party the night away!
Jordan and Ryan, we are so thankful for you two and your families. You made us feel like family through your generous hospitality. We absolutely loved meeting your sweet families and serving you throughout your perfect day! We hope you are enjoying your honeymoon on the beach! Grab some drinks and get ready to relive your wedding day through your (giant) blog post! (Sorry, there were just too many good ones! This one’s a long one!)
xoxo,
Laura
