Summer Engagement Session in Steubenville, Ohio | Megan + Zack

Though we absolutely love to travel, I am always so touched when a client is willing to drive to us for their engagement session.  Megan and Zack drove 4 hours to come visit Megan’s family and it worked our perfectly to schedule their engagement session in Steubenville, OH for last weekend.

Megan is grew up in the area and so when we were discussing locations for their session, she mentioned that she wanted some images from Franciscan University’s campus, near the Port as well as some from downtown.  I have loads of favorite locations downtown and that list just continues to grow! It is so much fun to find little hidden gems around the streets of downtown.

When we met up with Megan and Zack I was so surprised by how much Megan looks like her mom!! I mean, basically twins! It’s incredible. I know her mom from my time working at Franciscan and Megan comes from a wonderful family!  Getting to know this couple was so easy and natural.  We chatted about how they met on the campus of WVU and how Megan had just finished Pharmacy school.  They now live 4 hours south near Marshall University where Zack is in medical school.  Zack told us about how he planned a scavenger hunt to all the locations in Morgantown that were special to them as a couple.  And at the end of the scavenger hunt, he proposed!! I just love meaningful and creative proposals!

Megan and Zack we just loved spending time with you on Sunday!! It was such a blast getting to know you both and we hope you enjoy scrolling through these images! You two were amazing to work with!
