North Shore and Mexican War Streets Engagement Session | Katie + Rob

When you think of a classic downtown Pittsburgh engagement session, you think of city views and the golden bridges crossing the three rivers. Katie and Rob’s session on the North Shore had all the quintessential Pittsburgh elements for a perfect early spring engagement shoot.

We started their session on the Mexican War streets. These streets, named after the people and places from the Mexican-American War, are lined with colorful and unique row houses.  I loved walking these blocks with Katie and Rob, chatting with them about their wedding plans.  We are so excited for their upcoming wedding in Virginia this summer!

We ended their session on the North Shore, walking along the Alleghany River.  It was the perfect evening for photos, the light was glowing as it set over the city which made for some lovely shots overlooking the city. We walked down to the Roberto Clemente Bridge and took some in the middle of the bridge!  Picture perfect Pittsbrugh!

Katie and Rob, we loved hanging out with you and exploring the city streets of Pittsburgh! We are giddy with excitement for your quickly arriving wedding and we just know it’s going to be stunning!! Enjoy scrolling through the highlights of your engagement session!

xoxo,

Laura
