St. Peter Catholic Church Canton, OH + Sable Creek Golf Course Wedding | Elizabeth + Justin

Elizabeth and Justin’s Solemn High Traditional Latin Mass wedding at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Canton, OH was nothing short of beautiful.  The voices of the choir floated through the church as Elizabeth walked down the aisle towards Justin.  She looked absolutely stunning, a picture perfect classic bride. Their eyes were locked on each other and I could see the tears welling up in Justin’s eyes.  Outside, it was drizzling, just like the forecast said it would.  It actually forecasted clouds, rain, and some thunderstorms for the whole day, so we came prepared with our clear umbrellas.  But inside the church there was peace: a peace that started that morning and that ran throughout the entirety of the day.

When Matthew and I arrived at Elizabeth’s family’s home, I was floored by the tranquility of the morning.  Elizabeth’s dad was weeding the garden, her brothers were getting ready upstairs and she wore matching PJs with her sister and mom.  Her mother gave us cups of coffee as we photographed details.  So many wedding mornings have a hustle and bustle and a ton of electric energy.  People all over the place, lots of excited chatter. But this morning was saturated in peace. It was so so lovely.

We arrived at the beautiful St. Peter’s Church and we strategically took photos on the steps of the church, avoiding the rain as much as possible.  During their beautiful Solemn High Latin Mass, I noticed the light coming through the stained glass windows.  I looked at Matthew and said excitedly “the sun is out!”  And it was! When the Mass ended we headed out to their beautiful venue and everyone marveled at how the rain and clouds had turned to blue skies and sun! God had truly blessed this couple with incredible weather! What a gift!

Sable Creek Golf Course was a beautiful venue for their reception.  The glass doors opened up to allow for the summer breeze to flow through their venue. People mingled on the patio overlooking the pond and golf course.  And the grounds surrounding the venue were perfect for portraits! I loved how the sunlight glittered through the leaves of the tress.  It was dreamy!

Elizabeth and Justin, we hope you are having the best time on your honeymoon in Montana! We are so thankful for the gift of meeting your sweet friends and family and for the opportunity to serve you on this sacred day. Get ready to relive your day through images!
