Ault Park Cincinnati Engagement Session | Christine + Travis

Ault Park in Cincinnati is probably our favorite photo location in the whole city! It’s got such variety in a small vicinity so you can get so many looks in a short amount of time.  I was joking with Christine and Travis that it was going to look like we went from Costa Rica to France in a matter of minutes for their engagement session.

We were so excited to finally meet up with Christine and Travis.  We rescheduled this engagement session a few times due to bad weather but we finally picked a date that looked good weather-wise.  Well when I woke up on Saturday morning, it was POURING! And not only pouring, it was a full-on thunder and lightning storm. Matthew and I said a quick prayer to St. Isidore the Farmer that the weather would miraculously clear.  (We learned this tip from Isabella and Eric’s wedding last year.)  When we arrived at Ault Park and the rain was just letting up.

God heard out prayers and for their entire session the big rainstorm held off.  It was amazing. We experienced what felt like every season during their session.  Clouds, wind, light rain and sun.  We could hear the thunder rumbling but nothing came our way.  Apparently, just a few blocks away it was pouring but we stayed dry which was amazing! Praise God!

It was so great to meet these two, get to know them, and hear more about their upcoming wedding. They met at a concert and have been together for 9 years. We are so excited for their wedding next month at St. Cecelia’s Church in Cincinnati!

xoxo,

Laura
