Flower Garden Inspired Backyard Wedding | Helena + Derek

Helena and Darek’s floral garden-inspired backyard wedding in Hartville, OH was something out of a fairytale.  The day began and ended in Helena’s backyard, a backyard filled with gorgeous flowers everywhere you looked. Matthew and I were just in awe walking around their grounds, admiring all the lovely details that their families had put so much time into designing.  I kept telling Helena’s mom that she should go into wedding planning, she has such a gift! It was so picturesque!

After Helena and Derek’s sweet first look in the Lourdes Grotto behind St. Joseph’s Church in Mogadore, OH, it was time for their wedding Mass.  Derek was beaming watching Helena walk down the aisle and she looked absolutely stunning. The air was filled with bubbles and cheers as their exited the church, now a married couple!  We headed to Quail Hallow Park for portraits, the same location where we took their engagement photos back in February! The groomsmen got very creative in their portraits, you’ll have to scroll down and see!

We headed back to Helena’s family’s house for their beautiful reception in their backyard!  It was an evening of good food, drinks and lots of dancing! An amazing wedding day for such an awesome couple! Helena and Derek, we hope you’re having a blast in Hawaii! Enjoy reliving your day through these images!
