Simmons Farm Flower Field Engagement Session in Pittsburgh | Catie + Brennan

God is a God of details.  He cares about our happiness, in both the big and the little things.  Catie and Brennan’s relationship is a testament to God’s faithfulness to the big and small details of our life. They met in college, at Franciscan University of Steubenville, through a mutual friend. Brennan proposed on the Feast of the Holy Family with 90 yellow roses, (Catie’s favorite flower).  They had just finished a novena so there were 10 roses for each day of the novena. How sweet is that??

We had a blast with these two at their engagement session at Simmons Farm in Pittsburgh, PA. Speaking of details, Catie just adores flowers and she had wanted engagement photos in a flower field. She had wanted sun flowers but I couldn’t find a field that was in bloom on their date.  So we decided on Simmons Farm since they have rows and rows of colorful flowers. When we arrived, I noticed that, in addition to a the flower fields, there was also a field of sunflowers in bloom! Like I said, God is a God of details! It was perfect!!

These two have such a deep love for each other and they are clearly each other’s best friend. They love to laugh together and it was so easy to capture such candid and real interactions between them.  And gosh, Catie’s smile is just contagious!! We can not WAIT for their wedding in Philadelphia next year!

Catie and Brennan, you guys are so wonderful! We enjoyed every minute of this session with you and we are counting down the days until we get to hang out with you again!!
