I love a good high school sweetheart story. When getting to know Sela and James, we found out they have been dating since high school! James proposed to Sela this past summer on her family’s back deck. He has decorated it with rose petals and string lights. To make the spot even more special, this was the same spot where they first said “I love you”….how sweet is that??

Therese and Phillip were one of the most expressively excited couples we have ever had during their Catholic Nuptial Mass at the National Shrine of the Little Flower Basilica in Royal Oak, MI, just outside of Detroit. They were just giddy with delight that they were FINALLY married. After months of planning, changing plans and […]

2021 is here and we started it off doing what we love: serving a couple on their wedding day. This was my first time in Wisconsin….the land of cheese curds (which are delicious by the way.) When we landed there was a thick blanket of snow and I was instantly excited for the wintry portraits. […]

November here in Steubenville was a quiet month for our family. No weddings this month made for a nice break from the regular workflow. I had a few family sessions that kept me busy and I was able to do some work on updating our website with content from this past year. We went for […]

Big skies, golden sunsets and an overwhelming sense of joy and thanksgiving….the perfect recipe for a wedding in Dallas, Texas. They know that senior dances and even an in person graduation aren’t a given. They have learned to savor the moment, not take anything […]

One year (and a few months) into marriage and these two still radiate so much joy! God and family. Two things that clearly stood out to me this past weekend. Leah and Jacob were married in a beautifully intimate backyard wedding in the Fingerlakes Region of NY, near Skaneateles, NY. The brightly colored fall leaves that blanketed the ground were the inspiration for the stunning wedding pallet. Dusty blues, mossy greens, […]

Picture this: brightly colored fall trees, a crisp breeze, and bright blue skies. The perfect fall day. Yes, the weather was beautiful but I’m here to tell you that the most beautiful parts of Teresa and Daniel’s wedding were the people. And I don’t just mean that in reference to the amazing couple and bridal […]
