Spring Wedding at St. Cecelia’s Catholic Church in Cincinnati | Jessica + Ted

On the eve of Divine Mercy Sunday, within the Easter Octave, Jessica and Ted were married on a perfect spring day in Cincinnati, OH.  Many months of prayer and preparation led up to this sacred day and God abundantly blessed them with a gorgeous day!

I began the day with Jessica and her friends and family.  The hotel room was filled with laughter, joy and smiles as I worked on photographing her gorgeous details! (I mean, did you see her shoes?!) Matthew headed over to the guys’ location, which turned out to be Jessica and Ted’s new house! As if their wedding week didn’t have enough going on, these two closed on their home just days before their wedding! What a full week!

We headed over to St. Cecelia’s Catholic Church where Jessica had come into the Catholic Church the year prior.  This church also holds a special place in their story as it’s also where Ted proposed to Jessica, by the Divine Mercy painting.  And now, they add to this list that this beautiful Cincinnati church is the place where they entered into the sacrament of marriage and began their life as a family. The Mass was filled with such anticipation and joy, leading up to their vows.  Jessica held her rosary the whole time, the rosary she was given by her sponsor when she entered the Church.  (You can see this same rosary make an appearance at their engagement session!)

After Mass we headed to Eden Park for photos with the bridal party and ended the portrait time with photos across the river in Kentucky, with iconic views of the Cincinnati skyline.  You could hear cheers coming from the Reds Stadium as the game was in the second inning!

We headed to their candlelit reception at the Bell Event Center. Their day ended as it began, with laughter and surrounded by loving family and friends.  Matthew and I left their reception with full hearts, having met incredible people. It’s truly one of the best parts of photographing weddings!

Jessica and Ted, we have been blessed to get to know you both over your engagement and now your wedding day.  It was a joy to serve you and we can’t wait to see what God has in store for your new family!
